Former President Donald Trump is leading the 2024 presidential race against incumbent President Joe Biden. This comes as no surprise to many, as the Biden administration has been struggling to handle numerous crises at home and abroad.

The CNBC All-America Economic Survey shows that Trump has a four-point lead over Biden, with 46% of respondents favoring the former president compared to 42% for Biden.

The CNBC claims that this small lead is actually a "bright spot" for the current president, given his plummeting approval ratings and increasing disapproval. Even the survey's own Democratic and Republican pollsters agree that Trump's lead would be much larger if it weren't for the various scandals and indictments he is currently facing.

In fact, the survey revealed that Biden's approval rating is at a dismal 37%, which is a clear indication that he is losing support from his own base. As Micah Roberts, partner at Public Opinion Strategies, puts it, "You don't get sub-40 approval ratings without losing large chunks of your base."

The survey also asked respondents about the recent conflict between Israel and the Iran-backed terrorist group Hamas.

The results showed that most Americans, 74%, believe it is important for the United States to provide military aid to Israel in this time of need. This is even higher than the 72% who believe it is important to fund the securing of the southern border.

Furthermore, the survey found that support for Israel over the Palestinians is the highest it has been since the Gaza war in 2014. 39% of respondents believe that the US should favor Israel, compared to only 36% who believe that both sides should be treated equally.

This is a significant shift from previous surveys, where most Americans believed in equal treatment for both sides.

Overall, these latest polls show that the American public is leaning towards Trump as a potential candidate for the 2024 presidential race, despite the media's constant attacks on him. And when it comes to foreign policy, the majority of Americans continue to support our ally Israel over terrorist groups like Hamas.
