Tony Bobulinski Sues Fox News’ Jessica Tarlov for $30 Million

Former associate of Hunter Biden, Tony Bobulinski, has taken legal action against Fox News host Jessica Tarlov, filing a $30 million defamation lawsuit.
The lawsuit stems from a comment made by Tarlov on The Five, which she later corrected on-air during the following day's show. Bobulinski's lawyer initially sent a letter to the Fox Corporation, demanding a retraction and apology from Tarlov for claiming that his client's legal fees were being paid by a Trump Super PAC.

Tarlov did address her comments on the subsequent show, but Bobulinski and his lawyer deemed it insufficient. Another letter was sent, demanding a complete retraction and apology from Tarlov, along with the instruction to show a photo of Bobulinski being sworn in before Congress.
However, Fox News declined to issue any further correction, stating that Tarlov's initial correction was accurate.
On the next day’s show, Tarlov did indeed address her comments from the previous day, saying, “I would like to clarify a comment I made yesterday during our discussion of Tony Bobulinski’s appearance at the congressional hearing…” (Fox News)
On March 28, Bobulinski and his attorney filed a lawsuit against Tarlov in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The lawsuit accuses Tarlov of deliberately and maliciously lying about Bobulinski's legal fees being paid by a Trump Super PAC.
The complaint argues that Tarlov's correction was not a complete retraction and apology as demanded.

Bobulinski and his attorney are seeking $30 million in compensatory, special, and punitive damages, as well as costs and attorneys' fees. The lawsuit aims to hold Tarlov accountable for her false statements and to seek justice for the damage caused by her defamatory comments.
This legal action underscores the seriousness of the situation and Bobulinski's commitment to protecting his reputation and holding those responsible accountable for spreading false information.
