President Joe Biden is set for his second visit to the Colorado this year.

The White House announced over the weekend that the President has rescheduled his trip and will arrive on Tuesday for a two-day visit as a part of his administration's "Investing in America" tour.

Originally scheduled for October 15, the trip was postponed last minute as the President attended national security meetings regarding the Israel-Hamas war. However, with the situation now under control, Biden is set to join Colorado Governor Jared Polis in a campaign reception in Denver on Tuesday before heading to Pueblo's CS Wind factory on Wednesday.

The visit to Pueblo holds great significance as it is the location of the largest wind tower manufacturer in the world and a major player in Colorado's transition to renewable energy. Governor Polis, in an email statement, expressed his excitement at welcoming the President and highlighted Colorado's leadership in moving towards 100 percent renewable energy by 2040.

In April, Polis celebrated the groundbreaking of the new manufacturing plant in Pueblo and will now join Biden and his team on their visit.

The White House has stated that during his visit, Biden will address the country on his administration's economic policies and how they are mobilizing investments in clean energy manufacturing and creating jobs under the Inflation Reduction Act.

Biden's visit also holds political significance as Pueblo falls under Colorado's 3rd Congressional District, represented by Republican U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert. Boebert, who narrowly won reelection last year and is up for reelection again in 2024, has been critical of the Inflation Reduction Act, which the President will be promoting.

In August, on the one-year anniversary of the law, Boebert called it a "massive failure" and has been working to repeal it.

Biden's trip to Colorado will be his fifth visit since taking office in 2021.
