Hypocrite Harris: Vice President Uses Gas Stove After Biden Admin Pushed for Ban
Vice President Kamala Harris can’t help herself, stumbling once again on social media and with the press, Harris was caught red-handed in a Thanksgiving scandal.
The vice president, who has long been a vocal supporter of environmentalism and reducing carbon emissions, was seen in an official Thanksgiving photo using a gas stove, the very same appliance that the Biden administration has floated banning earlier this year.
Conservatives were quick to call out Harris on social media, with Senator Ted Cruz pointing out her double standard and Senate GOP staffer Charles Correll III accusing her of being selective in her environmental concerns.
Even actor Kevin Sorbo, known for his conservative views, chimed in, questioning why Harris was using a gas stove when it is supposedly harmful to the environment.
The controversy stems from remarks made by a Biden-appointed official in January, where it was suggested that a ban on gas stoves was a potential option due to concerns over toxic chemical emissions. This sparked fear among Americans and caused backlash against the Biden administration.
But in a twist of events, the official later retracted their statement and clarified that the regulations only applied to new products. Even White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed that President Biden does not support a ban on gas stoves.
However, the House still acted by passing a bill preventing any potential ban on gas stoves, with only 29 Democrats voting in favor of it. It seems even within their own party, there is disagreement over the issue.

And while the Department of Energy has proposed an "energy efficiency standard" for gas cooking products, they have vehemently denied any plans for a ban and clarified that the new regulations would not go into effect until 2027.
But in Democrat-run states like California and New York, where extreme environmental regulations are the norm, bans on gas stoves have already been implemented. In fact, New York Governor Kathy Hochul recently signed legislation effectively banning gas stoves in new buildings by 2026.
