The House Oversight Committee was thrown into chaos as partisan bickering reached a fever pitch during a hearing on Wednesday. The clash erupted when Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) launched a scathing attack on Hunter Biden, accusing him of having "NO BALLS" for his failure to adhere to a subpoena.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and vote on a resolution to hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress for his non-compliance with a subpoena issued late last year. However, the proceedings quickly devolved into theatrics and shouting matches.

Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (D-MD) attempted to deliver his opening statement amidst the chaos, but Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) interrupted to voice her inquiry.

Chairman James Comer (R-KY) allowed Greene to state her point, leading to further protests from Raskin.

Greene questioned the adherence to house and committee rules regarding subpoenas and the conduct of hearings. Raskin expressed his frustration, highlighting the absurdity of interrupting each other with inquiries. Greene then insisted that Comer read the rules for a deposition to the committee, which he obliged.

The chaos continued, with Raskin struggling to finish his statement. Comer eventually cut him off, claiming his allotted time had expired. Miss Mace from South Carolina was then recognized to speak, but her remarks were met with further interruptions.

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) spoke over Mace and suggested hearing from Hunter Biden immediately.

Mace, frustrated with the interruptions, exclaimed, "I am speaking!" The room erupted in disorder, with Mace questioning whether women were allowed to speak in the committee.

Chairman Comer attempted to restore order, demanding decorum from the members. Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) condemned the lack of civility and urged the committee to follow the rules, a sentiment quickly agreed upon by Comer.

The chaotic hearing showcased the deep divisions and partisan animosity within the House Oversight Committee. Instead of engaging in substantive discussions and addressing the issues at hand, the proceedings devolved into personal attacks and a complete breakdown of decorum.

“Order! Order! Order!” Comer demanded as Mace yelled, “Are women allowed to speak in here?!”

After some more shouting back and forth, Mace declared, “I think that, uh, that Hunter Biden should be arrested right here, right now and go straight to jail. Our nation is founded on the rule of law.”
