Head of DeSantis PAC resigns as internal tensions explode

Head of Governor Ron DeSantis PAC Resigns as Internal Tensions Explode in Campaign for President

The campaign for Governor Ron DeSantis has hit a major roadblock as the head of his pro-DeSantis super PAC, “Never Back Down,” resigned amid mounting internal tensions.

According to an explosive report by NBC, the tensions within the campaign came to a head and led to the resignation of Chris Jankowski, a key figure in DeSantis' presidential bid.

Jankowski's departure, which was first reported by the New York Times, is just the latest distraction to derail DeSantis' momentum in the crowded GOP primary.

In fact, DeSantis' campaign has been struggling with staffing and budget cuts over the summer, causing delays in their efforts to reset the campaign. This includes the firing of an aide who created and shared a controversial video featuring DeSantis and a symbol used by white supremacists.

In a statement released by a spokesperson on Wednesday, Jankowski emphasized that his main goal and "sole focus" was to get DeSantis elected as president.

However, considering the current environment and an unbridgeable difference of strategic opinion, Jankowski felt it was no longer viable for him to fulfill this goal.

Representatives for DeSantis have not yet responded to requests for comment on the matter.

To further boost his campaign, DeSantis has even agreed to participate in a debate on Fox News with Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom, who isn’t even running for president.

This latest development in the DeSantis campaign has raised concerns among supporters about the stability and management of the campaign.

Nevertheless, DeSantis remains determined and focused on his goal of winning the presidency. Will he be able to overcome these internal hurdles and come out on top in the GOP primary? That remains to be seen. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
