Democrat speaker loses control of the House to pro-Palestinian protesters, and chastises Republican minority.

The start of the second day of the special session was interrupted by a small group of pro-Palestinian protesters yelling from the gallery of the Colorado House. As soon as they began, Speaker Julie McCluskie called for an immediate recess so that the House could be brought back into order.

After a three-minute recess, the Speaker returned to order, only to be interrupted again by the shouting of a young woman. She then called for another recess to regain control.

After the session had been interrupted for the third time, Speaker McCluskie, sounding more like a schoolteacher, announced another recess, but this time the gallery would be closed to visitors.

Once the gallery had been cleared Speaker Julie McCluskie address the House, while looking at the Republican minority.

Unbelievably, after the gallery had been cleared and the protesters (who had disrupted the work of the representatives) were escorted downstairs to have "a dialogue" with lawmakers, the speaker chastised the lawmakers.
